Privacy Policy
1. Purpose and Responsible Party
This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing (including collection, processing, and use, as well as obtaining consents) of personal data within our online offering and the associated websites, functions, and content (hereinafter collectively referred to as “online offering” or “website”). This privacy policy applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms, and devices (e.g., desktop or mobile) used to operate the online offering.
The provider of the online offering and the data controller is tectigo recruiting, Owner: Tobias Maier, Hockenheimer Straße 3, 68723 Oftersheim (hereinafter referred to as “provider”, “we”, or “us”). For contact details, please refer to our imprint.
The term “user” encompasses all customers and visitors of our online offering. The terms used, such as “user,” are to be understood as gender-neutral.
2. General Information on Data Processing
We process personal data of users in compliance with relevant data protection regulations according to the principles of data minimization and data avoidance. This means that user data is only processed when there is a legal basis, especially if the data is necessary for providing our contractual services and online services, or if consent has been given.
We take organizational, contractual, and technical security measures in accordance with the state of the art to ensure compliance with data protection laws and to protect the data we process from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties.
If, within this privacy policy, content, tools, or other means from other providers (hereinafter collectively referred to as “third-party providers”) are used and their stated headquarters are abroad, it is assumed that data transfer to the headquarters of the third-party providers takes place. The transfer of data to third countries occurs either based on legal permission, user consent, or specific contractual clauses that ensure the required security of the data by law.
3. Processing of Personal Data
Personal data is processed, in addition to the explicitly mentioned uses in this privacy policy, for the following purposes based on legal permissions or user consent:
- The provision, execution, maintenance, optimization, and security of our services, service, and user benefits;
- Ensuring effective customer service and technical support.
We transfer user data to third parties only if this is necessary for billing purposes (e.g., to a payment service provider) or for other purposes necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to users (e.g., address communication to suppliers).
When contacting us (via contact form or email), user information is stored for processing the request and in case follow-up questions arise.
Personal data will be deleted once they have fulfilled their intended purpose and there are no retention obligations to prevent deletion.
4. Collection of Access Data
We collect data about every access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). Access data includes the name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.
We use the log data without assigning it to the user or creating other profiles, in accordance with legal regulations, solely for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of our online offering. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively check the log data if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete indications.
5. Cookies Reach Measurement
Cookies are information that is transmitted from our web server or third-party web servers to the user’s web browser and stored there for later retrieval. Users are informed about the use of cookies within the scope of pseudonymous reach measurement in this privacy policy.
Viewing this online offering is also possible with the exclusion of cookies. If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computers, they are asked to disable the corresponding option in their browser’s system settings. Stored cookies can be deleted in the system settings of the browser. The exclusion of cookies can lead to functional restrictions of this online offering.
It is possible to manage many online ad cookies from companies via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.
6. Facebook Social Plugins
Our online offering uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com, operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile, the terms “Like”, “Gefällt mir” or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
When a user calls up a function of this online offering that contains such a plugin, their device establishes a direct connection with the servers of Facebook. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to the user’s device and integrated into the online offering. Usage profiles of users can be created from the processed data. Therefore, we have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and informs users according to our level of knowledge.
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the online offering. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to their Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from their device to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and store their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Germany.
If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them through this online offering and link it to their member data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook before using our online offering and delete their cookies. Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes can be made within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, meaning they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
7. Facebook Remarketing
Within our online offering, so-called “Facebook pixels” of the social network Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”), are used. With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors of our offering as a target group for the presentation of ads, so-called “Facebook ads”. Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our internet offering. This means, with the help of the Facebook pixel, we want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.
The Facebook pixel is integrated directly by Facebook when our websites are called up and can store a so-called cookie, i.e., a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log into Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, the visit to our offering is noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us, so it does not provide us with any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so a connection to the respective user profile is possible. The processing of the data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook’s data usage policy. Accordingly, you will receive further information about the functionality of the remarketing pixel and generally about the presentation of Facebook ads in Facebook’s data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and the use of your data to display Facebook ads. To do this, you can call up the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or declare your objection via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, meaning they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
8. Twitter Buttons
We use the buttons of the Twitter service. These buttons are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are recognizable by terms like “Twitter” or “Follow” or connected with a stylized blue bird. With the help of the buttons, it is possible to share a post or page of this online offering on Twitter or to follow the provider on Twitter.
When a user calls up a web page of this online offering that contains such a button, their browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of Twitter. The content of the Twitter buttons is transmitted by Twitter directly to the user’s browser. Therefore, we have no influence on the extent of the data that Twitter collects with the help of this plugin and inform users according to our level of knowledge. After this, only the IP address of the user and the URL of the respective website are transmitted, but not for other
Further information can be found in Twitter’s privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy.
9. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer, to help analyze how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. As a result, IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, which precludes direct personal reference (so-called “IP masking”).
The use of Google Analytics is in accordance with the conditions to which the German data protection authorities have agreed with Google. 10. Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, a web advertising service of Google Inc., USA (“Google”). Google AdSense uses “cookies” (text files) that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. Google AdSense also uses so-called “web beacons” (small invisible graphics) to collect information. Through the use of web beacons, simple actions such as visitor traffic on the website can be recorded and collected. The information generated by the cookie and/or web beacon about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website regarding the ads, compile reports on website activity and ads for website operators, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies on your hard drive and the display of web beacons by selecting “do not accept cookies” in your browser settings (in MS Internet Explorer under “Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Settings”; in Firefox under “Tools > Settings > Privacy > Cookies”); however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
12. Integration of Third-Party Services and Content
It may happen that within our online offering, content or services from third-party providers, such as city maps or fonts from other websites, are integrated. The integration of content from third-party providers always requires that the third-party providers perceive the IP address of the users, as they would not be able to send the content to the users’ browsers without the IP address. The IP address is thus necessary for displaying this content. Furthermore, the providers of third-party content can set their cookies and process the data of users for their own purposes. In the process, user profiles can be created from the processed data. We will use this content as sparingly and as data-avoidant as possible and choose reliable third-party providers in terms of data security.
The following presentation provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, along with links to their privacy policies, which contain further information on data processing and, in part already mentioned here, opt-out options:

13. User Rights and Data Deletion
Users have the right to obtain, upon request and free of charge, information about the personal data we have stored about them.
In addition, users have the right to correct incorrect data, revoke consent, block, and delete their personal data, and the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of suspected unlawful data processing.
The data stored with us will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for their intended purpose, and there are no legal retention obligations to prevent deletion.
14. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change the privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal situations or in the event of changes to the service and data processing. This, however, only applies with regard to declarations on data processing. Insofar as user consents are required or parts of the privacy policy contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes will only be made with the consent of the users.
Users are requested to inform themselves regularly about the content of the privacy policy.
